ATU Winery Calibru .12-21 2018

It took 12 months and 21 days to produce this red cuvée from three grape varieties of the same "caliber". In the glass, a sparkling, intense ruby red with violet reflections. In addition to fantastic aromas of ripecherries, blueberries and blackcurrants, elegant hints of darkchocolate, black pepperand tobacco delight onthe nose and palate. A very fresh and lively blend, bottled in a limited edition of only 3000 bottles.

A cuvée of three great grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Feteasca Neagra. The ageing in barriques underlines the authentic style of the winemaker - an intense wine with aromas of ripe cherries, blueberries, blackcurrants, which also dominate in taste, complemented by dark chocolate, black pepper and tobacco. Visually, the Calibru .12-21 impresses with intense ruby red and violet reflections. A balanced and elegant texture, mouth-filling and subtle at the same time. Fine tannins in perfect balance.

The grapes are harvested by hand at the beginning of October. Temperature-controlled fermentation at 20-23°C in steel tanks. Aged for 12 months in Romanian oak barrels.
