Beykush Amphora Rkatsiteli Orange 2021 White

Rkatsiteli in our region fits so harmoniously and has taken root that even in the aroma of wine it conveys our summer prairie heat with dry grass between the fields of sunflowers.

The Beykush Amphora series appeared in 2020, when our new winery was equipped with a whole galaxy of amphorae of different volumes from several different producers from Spain and Italy, made of different materials. The wines presented are made in these amphorae.

Characteristics:
Beautiful and aromatic orange wine made 100% of Rkatsiteli grapes. The taste has hints of honey, nuts, ripe quince, yellow plums, apricot and dried apricots.

Food pairing:
A wonderful aperitif. Beykush Orange Rkatsiteli wine pairs beautifully with curry, roasted lamb and traditional Japanese food. Serving temperature: 10-14°C

Geologically, this is part of the plain water-solitary plateau between the Buzky and Berezan estuaries of the South prairie, with the formed dark chestnut loose soils.

Maceration and fermentation with the seeds and skins (so-called "orange" technology) in ceramic 400-liter Spanish amphorae (tinahas) handmade. Tinahas producer – Cantereria Josep Jornet from Miravet, Tarragona province, Spain.
